Southern Hospitality

Have you ever had a guest show up at your house unnuanced and the Southern Hospitality inside you felt the need to feed them? That is exactly why I created this section. These are recipes you can 'whip up' quickly, but never compromise on flavor.

In this recipe I use Salvaged Heirlooms Five Pepper Jelly. The jelly features green bell pepper, red bell pepper, jalapeño pepper, and habanero pepper all perfectly balanced to sweet and spicy perfection.

Ingredients:

1 sheet Puff Pastry (slightly thawed if frozen)

8oz round Brie

2 tbsp Salvaged Heirooms Five Pepper Jelly

  1. Preheat oven to 350º Fahrenheit.

  2. Lay slightly thawed piece of Puff Pastry flat and add round of Brie to the middle. Do not remove rind from Brie.

  3. Add Five Pepper Jelly and spread on top of the Brie.

  4. Fold puffed pastry over the Brie and jelly. Cut off excess dough if necessary.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes till puffed and brown.

  6. Cool for about 10 minutes and serve.
